Otolaryngology/Rhinoplasty Specialist C. Spencer Cochran, MD's area of interest and expertise is aesthetic and reconstructive nasal surgery, and he is one of only a handful of surgeons across the United States whose practice focuses exclusively on rhinoplasty (nose reshaping surgery) and rhinoplasty-related procedures. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Cochran received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he graduated with honors. During his surgical training, he served as Chief Resident of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas where he currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor. After completing his surgical training, Dr. Cochran joined Dr. Jack P. Gunter as a rhinoplasty specialist at the Gunter Center for Aesthetics & Cosmetic Surgery in Dallas, Texas. An accomplished author and lecturer on rhinoplasty, Dr. Cochran teaches rhinoplasty techniques to other surgeons at various national and international meetings each year, and his clinical and scientific research has been published in numerous journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, and Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America. Dr. Cochran is a contributing author to Dallas Rhinoplasty: Surgery by the Masters, 2nd Ed. This book is fast becoming the standard for rhinoplasty texts.
