Dr. Evan Bates has been practicing Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in Dallas for over 16 years. He attended medical school at the University of North Carolina and completed his residency training at UCLA Medical Center. During his residency he completed research in sinus disease focusing on nasal polyps performed one of the first endoscopic sinus surgery procedures at UCLA when he was Chief Resident. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society. His practice focuses on pediatric ENT, the treatment of sinus disease, and head and neck surgery. He is a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and has supervised residents at both Children's Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Dr. Bates is a frequent speaker on chronic sinus disease and his interests include computer applications in medicine where he has published several articles and taught instructional courses at the Annual Meeting of the AAO-HNS. Dr. Bates is an avid marathon runner and lives in Dallas with his wife and 4 children.

An accomplished author and lecturer on rhinoplasty, Dr. Cochran teaches rhinoplasty techniques to other surgeons at various national and international meetings each year, and his clinical and scientific research has been published in numerous journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, and Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America.
